 Samaritans Together
Samaritans Together was born out of dream from one of our members several years ago. It is a clearing house for helping people in our community with emergency assistance on rent, food, utilities, or medicine. Now supported by many churches in Henry County, Samaritans Together can provide for emergency needs for anyone that may have too much month at the end of the money. Samaritans Together can help directly by providing money to pay for a prescription, or help with rent or utilities in time of crisis. Samaritans Together can help with negotiating payments, so that utility services will continue uninterrupted. Samaritans Together can also direct someone in need to the Food Pantry, or the Clothes Closet. These services are provided on a case-by-case basis. Samaritans Together does not give out money, but pays directly for the person in need. Samaritans Together does not provide any on-going or permanent assistance. |
