What Are Your Policies?

  • A parents’ handbook is distributed and discussed at the orientation meeting for parents in the fall.

Where are you located?:

  • We are located at 151 Macon Street just off the square.  The classes for MMO are located in the church building. Call Allison for a tour.

Who provides snack for the children?

  • The parents will provide snacks and a drink for their own child for snack time.  We do have back up reserves.

What are the hours and days?

  • Our program runs on each morning from 8:45 am – 11:45 am.

How do I register?

  • You may complete a registration form from the website at www.mcdfirst.org/mmo or you may request one from the church office or the director, Allison Jolley.  Once your registration form and fee are received you will get notification that your child is enrolled.  Should there not be a space for your child your check will be returned to you and your name will be places on a waiting list in the order it was received.

What if I have to withdraw before the end of the school year? Will I be committed for a full year’s tuition?

  • We ask that you give us a 1 month’s notice to withdraw.

Do you provide before or after school care?

  • No, not at this time.

Do you have to be a member of McDonough First United Methodist Church to enroll?

  • No, we accept any child from any faith of ethnic background.

Do you screen children?

  • No.

Do children have to be potty trained to be in Mother’s Morning Out?

  • No, but we will assist them as they are developmentally ready to learn this skill.  If your child comes to MMO in a diaper we will change their diaper.  If they come in a pull up or underwear we will encourage them to use the bathroom facilities and use proper hygiene.
