H3 Ministry is a new collaborative ministry of Henry County churches, sponsored by Salem Baptist and McDonough First United Methodist and hosted out of The Coan Fellowship Hall at McDonough First United Methodist. This is a ministry that enables our church families to move forward in faith as we serve the Hungry, Homeless and Housing-challenged of Henry County. This ministry began as a vision, of over a year ago, to offer a warm meal and devotion time for the physical and spiritual hungry in our community. Every Friday evening, different churches will sponsor the meal, a meat and sides, and we will offer the opportunity for volunteers and their families (ages 6 and older) to serve as hosts and servants. Each evening will begin with volunteer orientation and training (required for your first visit) at 4:30, everyone taking their positions by 4:50, and seating and serving our guests from 5 to 7 p.m. We hope to serve 300 each evening and will cut-off our seating at 6:45 p.m. Signup to Volunteer
