H3 Ministry is a collaborative ministry of Henry County churches, sponsored by several Henry County churches and hosted out of The Coan Fellowship Hall at McDonough First United Methodist. This is a ministry that enables our church families to move forward in faith as we serve the Hungry, Homeless and Housing-challenged of Henry County. This ministry began as a vision, of over a year ago, to offer a warm meal and devotion time for the physical and spiritual hungry in our community. Every Friday evening, different churches will sponsor the meal, a meat and sides, and we will offer the opportunity for volunteers and their families (ages 6 and older) to serve as hosts and servants. Each evening will begin with volunteer orientation and training at 6: p.m., everyone taking their positions by 6:30, and seating and serving our guests from 6:30 to 7 p.m. We serve guest in-house and outside, with outreach teams delivering to-go meals to our truly homeless living in and around downtown McDonough. We are currently serving over 125 guests every Friday night. If you or your group would like to serve, please register below and a member of our ministry team will contact you. Signup to Volunteer
