BEAUTIFUL—The floor to ceiling our church provides a beautiful backdrop for your wedding.  Coming down our center aisle on the marble floor up to our alter framed by our beautiful pipe organ and surrounded by large open glass windows.

MEANINGFUL—The rich heritage of Christian fellowship and dedication reaching back to the beginning of Henry County in the early 1800s has been carried over to our current church which can be felt in the personalized service of worship that accompanies the ceremony.

SPACIOUS—The sanctuary is in a traditional setting large enough to accommodate weddings with 400 guests, but also allows for smaller more inimate weddings.

MAGICAL—Out many windows allow for beautiful natural light to come in during ceremonies performed during the day and a beautiful candlight ceremony in the evenings.

INSPIRATIONAL—The pure majesty of the church will prove an inspiration for your wedding ceremony as a celebration of a covenant based on your love.

RECEPTION—We have a fellowship hall that has beautiful glass chandeleirs that adds such elegance to our open spacious room.  We have plenty of tables and chairs to provide seating for approxiamtely 250.  We also have a full size commercial kitchen for the use of you or your caterer.

Here at McDonough First Church we have everything you need to make your wedding day wonderful and to create many precious memories.

MINISTERS—Your minister will spend time with you prior to your special day to build a relationship that will add meaning to your ceremony

ORGAN—The organ at McDonough First has brand new majestic pipes that provides a sound that is glorious. It provides a spectacular acoustical setting that will surround you with enchanting music.

ORGANIST—Our world-class organist, Alex Benford, will help you select and will play the perfect music for your wedding on our extraordinary organ.

WEDDING COORDINATOR—Our wedding coordinator, Allison Jolley, has years of experience and will guide you through the planning of your ceremony, be there for your rehearsal and wedding ceremony, and oversee the ceremonial details. 

ASST. WEDDING COORDINATOR—Our assistant wedding coordinator, Angela Beattie, will work with your caterer in using our kitchen facilities as well as assisting in all of your reception needs in our fellowship hall.

BRIDAL PARLOR—The Parlor will provide comfort and privacy for you and your bridal party as you prepare for your special event.
